Gaps from missing teeth make you feel self-conscious. You look at everyone else with their full sets of teeth and wonder why you had such bad luck.

Actually, many of those people probably have dentures. Around 120 million people in the U.S. have at least one missing tooth. That's the majority of American adults.

If you only need to replace a few teeth, a custom partial denture could be the solution. Learn more about the benefits of custom partial dentures and how they can restore your smile.

The Importance of Custom Dentures

Choosing custom dentures instead of a one-size-fits-all model is essential. Low-cost dentures seem attractive, but you'll pay more in the long run.

Lower-quality dentures aren't very durable. You'll need frequent replacements. Custom dentures are as strong as real teeth, helping to improve chewing and improve speech.

Generic dentures weren't made for your mouth, so they often fit poorly. This can cause mouth sores, jawbone problems, and other oral issues.

A dental professional will ensure that your custom dentures fit well. Denturists use digital technology to analyze your bite and facial structure. The dentures will look as close as possible to your natural teeth.

Benefits of Partial Dentures

Custom partial dentures are a great denture solution for a tooth gap that isn't too large. You can regain a confident smile at a lower price.

Cost-Effective Option

The cost of your dental restoration depends on your circumstances. Custom partial dentures will be more economical than other solutions, though.

A plastic resin base will be the least expensive. Flexible dentures are a mid-range option. They use a mixture of acrylic and metal.

Metal partial dentures are the most expensive type. They still cost less than most full dentures.

Removable

You can remove a custom partial denture whenever you want. You can keep them clean more easily.

Your dentist can adjust them over time if necessary. Your custom dentures will continue to give you the best possible look and fit.

Non-Invasive Procedure

A partial denture uses clasps or precision attachments. The fitting process is a non-invasive procedure. This contributes to the lower cost of partials compared to solutions like implants.

The procedure is less intimidating. The timeline is shorter too. You may be able to get your dentures the same day after your dentist takes the impressions.

Comfortable to Wear

A custom partial denture fits well. Modern materials are lightweight. These are two factors that make partial dentures comfortable to wear.

A partial denture only replaces a few teeth. You can adapt to wearing it more easily than to full dentures or implants.

Regain Confidence with a Custom Partial Denture

A custom partial denture has many advantages. It will fit well, match your natural teeth, and last for years.

Partial dentures are an economical way to replace a few teeth. Getting them is a non-invasive procedure. You can get used to wearing a partial denture more easily.

DR. AN TA

D.M.D

Dr. Ta grew up in a small college town called Davis in California. He spent a lot of this youth volunteering in the community. He wrestled in high school and raised pigs in the FFA. Dentistry was not his first career choice. He wanted to be a field biologist and research bacteria. His love for the micro world led him to pursue a bachelor's in microbiology and later work for a biotech company researching diatoms as an alternative energy source. After two years, Dr. Ta's desire to make an impact and serve the community inspired a career change and move to Cleveland, OH where he earned his Doctorate degree. His love for education did not stop there; he pursued additional training in General Practice Residency gaining skills in specialty fields such as oral surgery, endodontistry, implantology, and pediatric dentistry. He is able to perform a full scope of dental procedures.
