Karen, Office manager

Karen is a seasoned professional with over four decades of experience in the dental field. She began her career in 1980 as a dental assistant with Royce D. McBride, DDS, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care. In 1993, Karen transitioned into an administrative role, expanding her expertise to the business side of the industry. Over the years, she took on increasing responsibilities, ultimately managing the day-to-day operations of the practice. In 2023, Karen joined Dr. Ta’s team when he opened Ocoee Dental Care, bringing her extensive experience in both clinical and administrative areas to help ensure the practice runs smoothly.

Outside of the office, Karen and her husband, David, love traveling and spending quality time with their three children and six grandchildren, who affectionately call her “TaDa.” She treasures every moment with her family and is always eager to create lasting memories with them.

Miranda recently relocated to Cleveland, TN, in June of 2024, after moving 11 times across 6 states over the years. These experiences have fueled her love for traveling and exploring new places. 

Miranda is a passionate dental professional who has been in the field since 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public and Community Health from Brigham Young University Idaho. As a Registered Dental Assistant with Expanded Restorative Functions (EFDA) and a certified Orthodontic Assistant, she has gained experience in Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and General Dentistry. Miranda is cross-trained in both administrative duties and clinical procedures, offering a well-rounded perspective on dental care.

Dedicated to helping patients overcome their fears of the dentist, Miranda strives to make every visit a positive experience. Her goal is to help individuals feel confident in their smiles and comfortable in the dental chair. 



Outside of work, Miranda enjoys traveling, spending time by the pool, lake, or floating the river in the summer with her friends. She loves making memories with her two nieces and her dog, Watson, who she affectionately calls her “child.” 

Kaelie, RDA

Kaelie is originally from California and made the move to Tennessee in 2021 with her dog, Titan. As the oldest of three siblings, Kaelie loves to visit California as often as possible to spend time with her family. Before discovering her passion for dentistry, Kaelie worked as a special education paraprofessional, where she developed strong communication, patience, and empathy skills.

Although Kaelie didn’t initially have a background in dental care, she soon met Dr. Ta, who mentored and trained her, sparking her true passion for dentistry. She later became a Registered Dental Assistant in Tennessee and is cross-trained in both administrative duties and clinical procedures. As a dental assistant, she is grateful to be part of a team that feels like family, where she has the opportunity to learn something new every day and witness some truly amazing procedures along the way.

In her spare time, Kaelie enjoys hiking with her dog Titan and has a love for all animals—yes, even reptiles! She used to have a 7-foot red tail boa constrictor. If she had to choose one food to eat every day, it would definitely be a bacon cheeseburger. She also loves playing volleyball and staying active with the sport whenever she can!

nancy, Rdh

Nancy grew up in Chattanooga and moved to Cleveland in 2020. Inspired by her father, a dentist, she began working in the dental field as a teenager. Nancy graduated from Chattanooga State’s Dental Assisting program in 1990, then wanting to further her dental career she returned to Chattanooga State and completed her associates degree in dental hygiene in 2004.

As a passionate dental hygienist, she is thrilled to provide dental education and care while building lasting relationships with her patients, seeing them every six months and being a meaningful part of their oral health journey.

Outside of work, Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, two stepchildren, and five grandchildren. She has a strong love for the Lord and a passion for helping others. She loves staying active by working out and enjoys camping (or as she calls it, glamping), as well as hiking. Nancy is always sharing snacks with Watson, the office therapy dog, and the two of them are big fans of peanut butter, carrots, and blueberries.

Kasadi, Receptionist

Kasadi, a Cleveland, TN native, has always had a deep passion for customer service and patient care. As a friendly and professional receptionist, she ensures that patients feel welcomed and valued from the moment they enter the office. Kasadi excels in scheduling, insurance verification, and working closely with the dental team to maintain a smooth, organized, and efficient office environment. Her commitment to delivering a positive experience makes her an essential part of the team.

Outside of work, Kasadi enjoys traveling to Panama City, Florida, every year, and spending time on the river. She loves making memories with her husband and daughter, often surrounded by the great outdoors. Kasadi is an animal lover and has three dogs, and she grew up riding horses, which instilled in her a love for outdoor activities. Whether hiking in the mountains or enjoying time with her family, Kasadi is always eager to embrace the beauty of nature.
